Meet James Yoder

James Yoder, CAI, is a professional in auctions and traditional real estate. He lives in Harrison County with his wife Sharon and their two daughters, Eliyanah and Caroline. He enjoys any outdoor activities with my family including hiking at the many beautiful state parks we have in WV! He’s earned the CAI designation, a special badge of honor that only 4% of auctioneers worldwide have. This designation comes from the Certified Auctioneers Institute and involves three years of in-depth learning with the National Auction Association. This makes James one of the best in his field, skilled in both exciting auction events and the detailed work of traditional real estate sales. James focuses on helping people and companies who are facing transitions in life, offering a full range of services for selling properties and personal items. Whether it’s through an auction or a regular sale, James aims to get the best price possible and make the selling experience easy and worry-free. He’s received several awards for his outstanding work, such as the 2020 West Virginia Auctioneer Champion, 2021 Ohio Junior Auctioneer Champion, and the 2021 Newcomer of the Year at Kaufman Realty and Auctions. More recently, he won the 2024 Texas Lonestar Open Reserve Champion and the 2024 CAI Rose Award, which show his continued success and creativity in his field. James also gives back to his professional community by being a part of the West Virginia Auctioneers Association’s Board of Directors. He’s also a member of the National Auctioneers Association, West Virginia Auctioneers Association, Ohio Auctioneers Association, and the National Association of REALTORS.
